A complete 3D tattoo studio built around the atmosphere of an independent creative space.
The environment was rendered as a 2:1 equirectangular panorama from a single viewpoint.
On the website, that panorama becomes an interactive 360° experience, allowing visitors to explore the room and its artwork directly.
Process & exploration
Environment
Building a complete enclosed environment around the intended panoramic camera position so there is meaningful visual information in every direction.
World Building
Tattoo furniture, equipment, storage, furniture and supporting objects establish the character and practical logic of the workspace.
Visual Identity
Original paintings are incorporated directly into the room, turning the environment into another way of encountering work from the wider portfolio.
Atmosphere
Lighting, materials and surface treatment establish the mood of the studio while preserving enough clarity for individual objects and artwork to remain readable.
Blender
A panoramic camera captures the completed environment as a 2:1 equirectangular image containing the full horizontal and vertical field around the camera.
Web Interaction
Three.js maps the panorama onto the inside of a virtual sphere. The viewer remains at the original camera position while drag input changes the viewing direction.
